Our recent Facebook contest revealed that a lot of people are unhappy with their old window treatments, but don’t know how to go about choosing new ones. Between the numerous types, options, and colors, it’s tough to make up your mind! So we decided to help out by taking customer-submitted photos and suggesting window treatments that will complement their furnishings and help customers get the look they want. So without further ado . . . welcome to our first installment of Treatment Transformations!

Cathy wrote: “We have a three-season porch with large windows that face east, but our biggest problem is our sliding door to the right – we can’t figure out how to decorate that dumb door! I don’t like what we have, but I think wood might be too heavy.

Panel track blinds are a modern option that usually work well with sliding doors, but they may look cumbersome on a small door like this one. Vertical cellular blinds are very energy efficient, but they don’t really go with the rich, wood theme.
